Informative Information
**Polite Notice **
We have recived a lot of people that want to give our rabbits loving homes which is wonderful , however we just want to help cut down issues we have been encountering.
- We will not Re-home single rabbit's unless you are wantting a companion for an already excisting rabbit. (Exsisting rabbits Must be neutered unless a medical reason not to have been done)
- We urge people to do their research when it comes to owning rabbits and look on the RWAF web site for guidance on size accommodation this is for both outdoor rabbits and indoor rabbits.(We are happy to check any accommodation before purchase to make sure that it is too standard ,but unfortunately we can NOT do the research work and look up accommodation in everyones different areas for you.)
- Accommodation that fall below requirment's will unfortunately get rejected. ( We have these guide lines in place as we want to make sure that the rabbits leaving our care have the best quality and chance to express there normal natural behaviour)
- We will NOT re-home any animal to people under the age of 18 years old who is going to be the main carer.
- Please do NOT be offened if we ask questions regarging your set up , how you would go about socialising , proof of neutering of existing pet , proof of landlord permission etc. (We do ask questions this is because we need to get to know a bit more about you and what you can provide for any of our animals, this is so we know we are trying to put our rescue animals into a life long home in which its welfare is going to be looked after.)
- Please, please, please can potental homes read the animals write up's this is because some of the animals profiles may specify what we are looking for when it comes to new homes . (Unfortunately we will not change from this decision as its a decision we have made to what we feel is best for that animal so please don't ask if we would alter this)
We are NOT trying to be difficult, but do want to find forever homes for the animals in our care that comply with animal welfare standards. We believe that every animal no matter the size should have the opportunity to express their normal natural behaviour and live in welfare accredited comfort. So please help us help you.
Thank you from us all hear at Small Critter Rescue
