Socialising

Please note that if you are looking to socialise either rabbits or guinea pigs, we do expect owners to give a good attempt at socialising and give the animals a chance to adjust to a new home and new routines etc. Bonding any animal can take time so please be patient.

We do have a minimum time frame that we expect adopters to work to with both our Guinea pigs and Rabbits. This is in place to try and minimise the stress and more heartache that these animals have already gone through. (This can range from 3 weeks minimum for guinea pigs to 3 months for rabbits.)

Potential adopters must be on board and respect our decision to do this as a rescue as new adopters will sign an adoption agreement agreeing to this. Following any unsuccessful socialising, then we ask for our animals to be returned to us.

We will however be on hand to help with socialising through WhatsApp once adoption has taken place so we can help advise new adopters on any situation that may occur.

In only EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES  may this change.
