Meet the Team

KIM

My Name is Kim  I have been working with in the animal industry for over 25 years. I have volunteered and worked within rescue shelters. I then have gone on to working with in the Veterinary Industry.

I am a Qualified  Registered Veterinary Nurse and a Qualified Dog groomer.

I run this rescue along side my nursing job , being a mum and my dog grooming.

We are only a small rescue but we try to help as many animals as we can and if we can't help we will try to point people in the direction of people that maybe able to help.

I have always been very passionate about animals and I have always wanted to try and help them the best that I can.

Along my career path I have gained a lot of skills such as hand rearing, caring for a wide range of different species all which has become very useful, especially within a rescue.

As we are a small rescue, we are self funded. This means that we do not get any government help when it comes to the cost of running the rescue. For us to run as a rescue, we really do rely on members of the public, helping support our rescue by generously donating, food, bedding, etc. We also  have some lovely fosters that help look after some of our animals when the main rescue becomes full. This way we can help rescue more animals In need.

We always treat all our rescue animals as if they were our own spoilt and loved unconditionally. If we have any animal that comes into rescue that is unfortunately not able to be re homed due to illness etc we will keep hold of them and given them all the love they deserve for however long they are with us for.

I really like passing on my knowledge and helping people who really want to keep hold of there pets but need advice on improving the care they are already giving there pets.By working together i hope to keep both animals and owners together and happy.

The dream going forward would be to expand our premisis and help more animals and owners alike in need.

By having the qualifications I have and the desire, knowledge to help animals I can provided a high level of care.

Within the rescue I look after the animals by medication, husbandry needs , as well as love ,cuddles. I also update the website, social media pages as well as answering calls and emails to managing fosters, vet visits and animal intakes.  This all as you can imagine takes time so response's can be slower. But I try my best. :)

We look forward to helping you out the best we can.
